1. What is the duration of Brainobrain program?

Brainobrain program consists of 10 levels each  lasting 3 months. Classes are held once a week for 1.5  hours, usually on weekends. Every 3 months, the child moves up to the next level. All children, irrespective of their age, enroll in 1st level and move up to the next level every 3 months. Based on continuous enrollment, your child is expected to have completed the entire 10 levels within 3 years.

2. What is the purpose of Brainobrain Program?

The Purpose of Brainobrain Program is to help children use both sides of their brain. Usually we are either left brain dominated or right brain dominated and we mostly use only one side of the brain.

3. When can my child start with the program?

Brainobrain is for children from 4 to 14 years. They can join at any age between 4 and 14 years. The younger they are when they join, the better it is.

If you want to encourage use of right brain which controls inspiration and images, it is very effective to start learning Abacus in early childhood when the left-brain tends to become more dominant.

Learning Abacus is a semi-abstract concept and it takes a while for 4 year olds to understand it. However, through play and regular practice they will be able to master it .
Statistically, a primary school child who started learning Abacus from pre-school age is more likely to execute mental arithmetic with six digits or more compared to a child who never practiced the method.

Minimum knowledge base on joining:

Your child should know to recite and write numbers from 1 to 10. They should have started writing letters of the Alphabet. They should be able to copy simple words based on teacher’s writing.

Your child should be able understand and respond to simple sentences that we use in our day to day life. Some examples are “what is your name?”, “what did you have for breakfast?”, “what is your father’s name, mother’s name?” etc.

4. Can I transfer my child to another Brainobrain Center?

Yes, of course! You may transfer your child from one Brainobrain center to another under valid circumstances (e.g. having changed your residence or if you are moving to another city or country). In this case you will obtain a ‘Transfer Certificate’ from your original center which should be presented to the new Brainobrain Center upon joining

5. Will my child get individual attention?

Individual Attention is a key factor in Brainobrain.    Our class size is limited to 12 children so that there is keener observation and feedback which ensures quality.

6. How can my child get the best out of Brainobrain program?

Brainobrain is a skill development program. It is recommended that your child does 15 minutes of Brainobrain practice every day at home in addition to attending the Brainobrain class. The most important thing is to support your child in doing this daily practice and to have fun while doing it.

We will provide all the necessary exercises and activities to support this daily practice. If you have any concerns about the progress of your child, do not hesitate to bring this to our attention but the likelihood is that your child is already doing very well.

7. Will my child get a certificate?

After successful completion of each level, your child will get an International Certificate. Towards the end of each level, your child will have a mock exam after which they will have the main exam.

8. How do you ensure quality?

We have a maximum of 12 kids in each class to ensure individual attention.

We also have a backup system. In case if your child requires additional training (in addition to the regular classes) we will provide either back up classes for smaller groups of kids or one to one support.

9. Will my child have an opportunity to compete?

We conduct regional, national and international competitions every year and all children are welcome to join. We know that this can be a challenging time and we will work with children to adequately support them should they wish to take part. All children gets certificates and prizes according of the tests they complete.
